New ‘Catholic Moral Theology’ Blog Looks Promising!

Ok, first it was the liturgists at Pray Tell: Worship, Wit & Wisdom, now it’s the moral theologians at Catholic Moral Theology and I think it rocks! The only thing missing is the cooperative Catholic systematic theologians blog. There are plenty of independent operations, but maybe there needs to be a bigger collective (something more like what the brilliant ladies over at WIT blog are up to).

What’s nice about the blog, as the America blog recently noted in publishing one of the contributor’s comments: “This website will have 15 of the best young Roman Catholic moral theologians in North America offering their insights.  But the great thing is that they won’t be only on the news, but also on the Sunday readings and in a specifically academic venue as well.”

Indeed it is well worth following. The contributors make up a broad selection of institutions and personalities, with scholars representing several areas of moral theological interest. This is something to keep an eye on for sure!
