I was honored to be interviewed by an outstanding minister and award-winning blogger from Canada, Jamie Arpin-Ricci, whose blog www.Missional.ca (bearing the title: “A Living Alternative: Our Missional Pilgrimage”) features the conversation.
The author of two books and a master of social-media use and engaging technology for ministry, Jamie and his wife, Kim, do outstanding ministry following in the footprints of St. Francis of Assisi (Jamies is a Third Order member in an ecumenical secular Franciscan community). I am grateful for his interest in this blog and my work and encourage you to check out his site and the interview: http://www.missional.ca/2011/01/dating-god-dan-horan-ofm/
Here’s his introduction to the conversation:
In the past few years of exploring the life of St. Francis of Assisi & the Franciscan tradition, one of the greatest blessings has been meeting others on that journey. Among them have been a few members of the Order of Friars Minor (Ordo Fratrum Minorum). Thanks to the blogosphere, I have most recently come across Brother Dan P. Horan, OFM– @DanHoranOFMon Twitter & Dating God on Facebook (all worthy following). His insights into life, faith and culture are excellent and compelling.
However, rather than trying to tell you about him myself, I thought I would have chat with him and let him tell you about himself. Hope you enjoy!
